About the
Chamber of Commerce
- How are we financed?
-
The Chamber of Commerce is a business and it incurs costs of operations and expenses similar to any other type of business, those are met by its membership fees and through fundraising.
The day-to-day operations of the Chamber are just as important as the General Meetings. The work that goes on in between meetings is where the ideas are put into action. Since the Board and the Members have businesses, families and other commitments. Someone is needed to do this work. Expenses for office space, equipment, advertising costs, employees, etc. are an essential part of the operation of the Chamber. That is where the membership dues are put to work. It is an investment in the present and future prosperity of this region.
