Small Business Week is a big deal and this fall, we will celebrate the successes and challenges in the constantly changing business community & residents.
The Chamber of Commerce is once again proud to recognize the best of the best in our region of performance and community spirit.
As an advocate of the region, the Chamber of Commerce invites you to identify potential candidates.
Community & business members are encouraged to help the Chamber celebrate and congratulate the successes within our region by nominating an organization and/or person deserving of this recognition.
This is your opportunity to acknowledge outstanding businesses, professionals and community leaders. We thank those of you who take the time to submitt nominations for the award categories, helping us honor the valuable contributions some of our local community leaders make each day.
These prestigious awards will be given to those who who were nominated demonstrating leadership, vision, innovation and dedication to the Wainwright region.

When filling out the nomination forms, please take time to provide as much information as possible , reasons as to why this your nominee deserves this award and documentation to support your statements.
Only the information you provide will be considered by the independentv panel of judges when selecting the winners.
Once your have completed & submitted your nomination form to the Chamber, you will recieve a more detailed form requesting specific information about your nominee, due September 14th.

The award presentations honoring the efforts of successful Wainwright region businesses and civic leaders whose achievements have made important contributions to the economic well being of our community, it’s ciizens and beyond. . .will be held at the GALA Candlelight Dinner & Awards in October .

Now a nation-wide celebration of entrepreneurship, organized by BDC and endorsed by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Alberta Chambers of Commerce and The Business Link Small Business Week continues to pay tribute to the important contribution that small businesses make to the economy.
Our Businesses and civic leaders contribute significantly to the region. It is vital that we recognize their accomplishments and contributions.
The Chamber of Commerce is again pleased to present the GALA Awards. Designed to do more than recognize and applaud truly outstanding leaders within the community. The GALA Awards are an opportunity to review the best busiuness practices of successful enterpreneurs, and those who have made major contributions to the betterment of our communit, distinguishing themselves through outstanding service, typifying the true spirit of service and self-sacrifice in representing the finest ideal of citizenship.
Small Business Week is a national celebration. It pays tribute to the significant contribution that small business owners make to our economy and dedicated to its development.
