The Buffalo Park Foundation and Bodo Archaeological Society have been working together since 2003 to preserve and promote the history of the plains bison in east-central Alberta.

Bevans Nature Area is a natural area of aspen parkland located at 8th Avenue & 16th Street Wainwright. A series of walking trails and playground have been developed by the Town, which allows an avenue of community recreation and education of area flora and fauna. Cycling is permitted on trails.

The Association recognizes and adopts the official playing rules of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association and Hockey Alberta as they are published from year to year. Contact the WMHA or visit their web site to learn more about enrollment and volunteer participation.

Annual Spring Sharptail Grouse Watch

 

This event is very interesting for both young and old. It is of special interest to bird watchers, nature lovers and photographers. It involves a natural setting in the military area, about the third week in April. Our society will provide you with guidance and assistance to help make this an enjoyable event.
