Not-for-profit community theatre is alive and abundantly well in the Wainwright arts community. Over the past twenty seasons Theatre 75 has presented us with high calibre and enriching entertainment played by superb local talent. Encore

Great variety! Music, humor, vocal, storytelling and band. Formed in 1986, Encore grew out of the original Band Boosters Group to become a registered, non-profit society dedicated to bringing a variety of high quality entertainment to Wainwright and district. The society is coordinated and administered by a group of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who share a common interest in the performing arts.

River Hills Chorus
of Sweet Adelines International

The River Hills Chorus is a group of women of all ages from Wainwright, Irma, hardisty, Czar and Chauvin who enjoy singing a capella. The group participates in community performances, competition (locally, regionally and provincially), shows and educational workshops, and let’s not forget weekly education in vocal skills. For the members this is a way for them to make new friends, work in the communtiy through our vocal talents, entertain their friends and neighbours and have a lot of fun doing something they love.
