Cat Country KEY 83 is proud to serve the entire Wainwright trading area and beyond with local service 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
KEY 83 plays today’s hot new country and all time favorites, featuring local news, sports, road conditions and community events.
Russ Williams and Jeff Newland have all the latest news and happenings each weekday morning from 6 to 10 am. Another important aspect of KEY 83 is the Willerton Ski-Doo Trading Post each weekday from 9:05 to 9:30 am Russ Williams looks forward to hosting this very successful program where our listeners call in and sell items over the radio. At NOON Jim Fischer has all of the latest Farm News, Current Prices and Information from 12 to 1 pm weekdays. As this is rodeo country we have all of the latest Rodeo News on Behind the Chutes weekdays at 5:08 pm. KEY 83 is also home to the Edmonton Oilers carrying all of the games home and away.

KEY 83’s Staff includes Ron Prochner, General Manager; Kathy Romanowicz, Reception / Traffic; Taryn Pollard, Donna Pratt, Lorrie Rechlo, Sales; and, of course the dynamic duo of Russ and Jeff.
The staff is an incredible group who work together throughout the year to help represented the radio station at as many events as possible.

KEY 83 is proud to be a major sponsor of the following local events in the Wainwright area including the Kinsmen Stuff the Bus Christmas promotion, the Cash for the Cure of cancer fundraising banquet, The annual Bumper to Bumper Golf Tournament, Wainwright Stampede, the Legion’s Buck ’n’ Brawl, the Chamber of Commerce Gala Awards, the KEY 83 Fishing Derby, Elks Talent Contest, Chamber of Commerce Trade Show & Sale, Chamber of Commerce Ag Appreciation Luncheon, sporting events such as the Irma Summerspiel , Minor Hockey Wainwright, Wainwright Polar Kings and Wainwright Bisons.
In Lloydminster KEY 83 is a major sponsor of the Professional Canadian Bullriders Finals, Bea Fischer Gala, Lloydminster Elks Radio Auction, and Lloydminster Blazers.
